Part-Time Design and Technology Teacher - Chesterfield (ASAP or September 2026 Start)The Supply Register is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Chesterfield to recruit a Part-Time Design and Technology Teacher, with an ASAP start or a September 2026 start available.This role is ideal for a creative and passionate DT specialist who enjoys inspiring students through practical, hands-on learning, innovation, and design.Timetable: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (mornings)The role includes:• Delivering engaging DT lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4• Planning and adapting lessons to support all learners• Developing students'' practical, design, and problem-solving skills• Assessing, tracking, and providing meaningful feedback• Maintaining a safe and well-organised workshop environment• Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment activitiesWe''re looking for candidates who:• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification• Have experience teaching Design and Technology in secondary schools• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge (e.g. product design, engineering, resistant materials or similar)• Are passionate about practical, hands-on learning• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills• Work effectively as part of a collaborative teamWhy apply?• Competitive daily pay rates• Flexible part-time working (Wed-Fri mornings only)• ASAP or September 2026 start options• Long-term opportunity with potential extension• Ongoing CPD and ..... full job details .....
