Part-Time Charity Finance Consultant - Outside IR35

Are you looking for a role where you can make a lasting impact within a values-led organisation?A small charitable organisation is seeking a Part-Time Charity Finance Consultant to join the team on an initial 3-month contract, offered on a part-time/ad hoc basis. This role has been assessed as outside IR35 and offers the opportunity to lead a range of finance process improvement initiatives while providing hands-on support to the wider organisation.The key responsibilities of the Part-Time Charity Finance Consultant are:Reviewing and strengthening finance processes and financial controls, ensuring they are robust, practical and fit for purpose.Leading improvements to month-end procedures, balance sheet reconciliations, journals and accruals.Developing and documenting clear finance processes, templates and month-end checklists to support the finance function.Reviewing accounting treatments and ensuring financial records are accurate, consistent and well documented.Producing and enhancing management reporting to provide meaningful financial insight to senior stakeholders.Supporting the organisation with restricted fund accounting and ensuring appropriate financial reporting where required.Providing guidance and training to colleagues, embedding new processes and promoting ..... full job details .....
