      <description>Location: Crawley | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Reed Accountancy are currently assisting an established Practice in the local area in the recruitment of a part time Bookkeeper to join their existing team. This role would suit a proactive and client-focused individual who enjoys working with a varied client portfolio and delivering high-quality financial support. Key responsibilities include:  Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and completing bank reconciliations. Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts, including profit and loss and balance sheet reports. Processing weekly and monthly payrolls, including RTI submissions and pension administration. Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with HMRC deadlines and regulations. Supporting clients with bookkeeping, payroll and VAT queries. Using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.  Requirements:  Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, management accounts, payroll and VAT. Experience using accounting software and payroll systems.
