We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a growing and friendly business in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transactional finance experience looking for flexible working hours.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across key processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the purchase ledger, including processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Maintaining accurate financial records and postings
- CIS
- Assisting with payroll processing
Essential:
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or assistant accounting role
- Strong knowledge of purchase ledger and reconciliations
- Experience with VAT and payroll processes
- Proficient in Sage 50
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
