Join our client''s team as a Bookkeeper based in rural Dartford. This is a great opportunity to work within an established accountancy practice, supporting a varied client portfolio with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks. As a Bookkeeper, you will be client-facing, playing an important role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting wider accounting and payroll functions.Role: Bookkeeper (Xero Experience Required)Working Pattern: 3 days per week - flexible but must include a Wednesday and FridayHours: 9.00am - 5.00pmTerm: TemporaryStart: ASAPPay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hourLocation: Rural Dartford (you will need your own transport due to lack of public transport nearby)Key Responsibilities:Record day to day financial transactions in accounting softwareManage accounts payable (processing supplier invoices and payments)Manage accounts receivable (raising invoices and chasing payments)Perform bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliationsMaintain accurate and organised financial records and audit trailsPrepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirementsProduce basic financial reports (trial balance, PandL, balance sheet)Support accountants with year-end and management accounts preparationProcess payroll and record employee expenses (where applicable)Liaise with clients to obtain records and resolve transaction queriesWhat We''re Looking For:Proven experience using Xero Accounting SoftwareRecent experience within a Bookkeeping roleStrong analytical ..... full job details .....
