Part Time Assistant Financial Controller

Part-Time Assistant Financial Controller, Daventry - 25 - 30 hours per week(Flexibility to Hours - School Hours or 3 or 4 days per week)Daventry£40,000 - £45,000 pro-rated (£22.00 per hour to £24.70 per hour)Key Responsibilities and DutiesProduction of monthly management accounts, to provide comprehensive financial information to guide strategy and policiesPrepare the annual operating budget in liaison with the directors and managersReview, analysis and reporting of budget variances and financial trendsImplement and maintain adequate systems of internal control to ensure the integrity of financial records and reports, including balance sheets and account reconciliationsManage the Treasury function/Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable ledgersOversee cashflow within the business and maintain rolling forecastsLiaise with external auditors during their audit of the group''s annual statutory accounts and corporation tax review.Submissions to HMRC for VAT and PAYEWorking with directors and managers to identify efficiencies and process improvementsCompetent user of ExcelQualifications and SkillsExperienced candidate with combined accounting and finance experience in a commercial environment and a good understanding of business and financial issues.Qualifications required:Qualified by experienceCompetent user of Excel, preference given to those with experience with NavisionSalary and BenefitsThe role is a part-time role for 25 - 30 hours per week, with a flexible working pattern ..... full job details .....
