Part Time Accounts Assistant

Part Time - Accounts Assistant - 16 hours per week

Huntress are working with an established global business who are looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant. This role involves managing day-to-day transactions and assisting with month-end processes,

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices, expenses, and intercompany transactions in Xero
• Manage sales and purchase ledgers and chase outstanding payments
• Reconcile bank accounts and transactions
• Prepare payment runs (BACS, international, payroll)
• Support month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Assist with cost of sales, stock, and royalty calculations
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Support VAT returns, audits, and statutory accounts

About You

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Well organised with good time management
• Confident communicator, able to handle queries
• AAT qualified (or equivalent experience)

Desirable:

• Experience with Xero or similar systems
• Knowledge of foreign currencies and/or stock management
