Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Your new company An established and growing organisation located between Colchester and Ipswich, my client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them on a 12-month contract on a part-time basis (circa 24-28 hours per week)Your new role Reporting to the Head of Finance and working as part of a small and supportive accounts team, key duties will includeDaily cashbook managementProcessing, coding and scanning of purchase invoicesSupporting with preparing payment runsStatement reconciliationsSupplier database maintenanceExpense and credit card reconciliationsAssisting with sales ledger and credit control tasks during busy periodsPotential to support with VAT returns and learn month-end processesGeneral finance support across the teamWhat you''ll need to succeed The successful candidate will have a successful track record working in a similar Purchase Ledger, Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper role.
