Part-Time Accounts AssistantLocation: Leeds LS25 (Hybrid - 1 Day Working from Home)Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE (Pro Rata)Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (24-28 Hours per Week)Start Date: Immediate / ASAPThe RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records.Working closely with the finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting function, ensuring supplier payments are processed efficiently and financial information is maintained accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching, batching and coding invoicesReconciling supplier statements and resolving account queriesPreparing and processing supplier payments via BACS and chequesMaintaining accurate purchase ledger recordsAssisting with payment runsSupporting sales ledger activitiesProcessing CIS and subcontractor invoices, including retentionsCompleting bank reconciliationsProviding support to the wider finance team as requiredAbout YouPrevious experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance roleStrong numerical and data entry skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyGood organisational and time management skillsExperience using Xero accounting softwareStrong Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solvingThe ability to work independently and ..... full job details .....
