Part Time Accountant Ramsgate, Kent Office Based Permanent £16 £18 per hour DOE 3 days per week 9am 4pm Are you an experienced AAT Level 4 qualified Accountant looking for a part-time opportunity within a friendly and established accountancy practice? We are working with a well-established accountancy practice in Ramsgate that is looking for a Part Time Accountant to join its small and supportive team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident working independently, enjoys dealing directly with clients, and has previous experience preparing accounts within an accountancy practice. The Role You''ll be responsible for preparing draft accounts and supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting needs, working closely with the wider team to ensure work is completed accurately and on time. Key responsibilities include: Preparing draft statutory accounts from trial balances Working with balance sheets and PandL statements Maintaining accurate working papers and client records Responding to client queries by phone, email and in person Working directly with a portfolio of clients Supporting senior members of the team where required Managing your workload effectively with minimal supervision Please note: This role focuses primarily on accounts preparation and does not involve final sign-off or corporation tax work.
