Part Time 3.5 ton Delivery Driver

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for Part Time 3.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Wednesbury.

This role is initally for 4 weeks with the potential of it been extended after that.

The working hours for the Part Time 3.5 tonne-Delivery Driver will be Monday - Friday 5.30pm - 9.30pm

You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries route plans are put together for your daily, and your vehicle is pre loaded each morning.

A DBS check will be required for this role.

The duties of the Part Time 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:

• Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
• Following a delivery route
• Pre calling customers before arrival
• Filling in paperwork as and when required
• Removing all packaging from each delivery

The ideal Part Time 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:

• Experience within a similar role
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• The ability to handle heavy goods
• A clean DBS

The salary for the Part Time 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be -13.63 per hour
