Part Qualified Management Accountant

We are pleased to be working with an excellent medium sized turnover company, located in Normanton who are looking for a part qualified or qualified Management accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.Reporting into the financial director, would suit someone ambitious as this role comes with a progression plan. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reportingProduce detailed variance analysis and commentary against budgets and forecastsSupport month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are achievedPrepare annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling forecasts, monitoring business performance against targetsAnalyse costs, margins, and operational performance to support decision-makingMaintain and review costings, overhead allocations, and financial reporting modelsMonitor and report on financial and operational variances, identifying trends and areas for improvementManage inventory and stock reporting where applicablePartner with operational teams to improve efficiency, profitability, and financial performanceSupport cash flow forecasting and working capital managementAssist with VAT returns, statutory reporting, and external audit requirementsMaintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standardsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiencySupport finance system ..... full job details .....
