This role is for a Part-Qualified Group Accountant, based in Castleford. You''ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the company''s financial operations during a 3-6 month fixed-term contract.

Description

• Assist in the preparation of group financial statements and management accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial data is maintained.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.
• Help maintain the integrity of financial systems and processes.

Profile

A successful Part-Qualified Group Accountant should have:

• Part-qualification in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good knowledge of accounting systems and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

Job Offer

• Salary of -40,000 - -50,000 dependent on the level of experience.
• 3-6 month fixed-term contract.
