This role is for a Part-Qualified Group Accountant, based in Castleford. You''ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the company''s financial operations during a 3-6 month fixed-term contract.Client DetailsThis role is with a company operating in the transport and distribution industry, located in Castleford.DescriptionAssist in the preparation of group financial statements and management accounts.Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial data is maintained.Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations.Support ad-hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.Help maintain the integrity of financial systems and processes.ProfileA successful Part-Qualified Group Accountant should have:Part-qualification in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).Experience in financial reporting and analysis.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Good knowledge of accounting systems and Excel.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.Job OfferSalary of 40,000 - 50,000 dependent on the level of experience.3-6 month fixed-term contract.If you''re interested in this role, apply now. ..... full job details .....
