Part 1 - Architectural Assistant- North Bristol

A design-led multi-discplianary consultant-in North-Bristol is looking for a Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join its growing team. They have appointed one person set to join and due to strong growth plans are looking to appoint a further candidate.

We are a collaborative, award-winning practice working across the South West and wider UK, delivering a strong range of public and private sector projects. Our work is driven by creativity, social value and rigorous design thinking, with a focus on creating buildings that genuinely improve lives and communities.

Our portfolio includes education projects, community and civic buildings, residential schemes, and specialist public-sector work. We also undertake sensitive projects within conservation and historic environments, bringing thoughtful design responses to complex contexts.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Part 1 Architectural Assistant to gain broad experience across all RIBA Work Stages. You will be supported by a team of experienced architects and designers, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to live projects from concept through to delivery.

We are committed to developing emerging talent and providing structured learning opportunities, including exposure to client meetings, site visits, and design development workshops.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Creative, with a strong interest in architectural and detail design
  • Experience with Revit (preferred but not essential)
  • Interested in the social impact of architecture
  • Well organised with a proactive attitude
  • A confident communicator, both verbally and visually
  • Some professional experience is an advantage, but not essential
  • Available to start in August or early September preferred
