The Role As a Parks Operative, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of parks, green spaces and council grounds. Duties include: Grass cutting, hedge trimming, edging, planting and general horticultural work Driving and maintaining allocated vehicles (van, trailer, ride-on mower) Use of powered hand tools and light plant machinery Litter picking and keeping sites in a clean, safe, orderly condition Assisting with inspection of playgrounds and park furniture Dealing courteously and professionally with members of the public Completing daily paperwork and reporting any hazards or incidents ...
