If we are a good fit for you, you will have the opportunity to manage our entire parking service, responsible for generating over £6m per year of income. You will also be managing the enforcement contract jointly on behalf of our partner authorities (value of £2m per year) and delivering the Council''s recently adopted Parking Strategy, aimed at ensuring fairness and modal shift.What will you be doing?- To provide overall management and day to day leadership of Parking Services (team of 7 people)- To support the Director for Regeneration, Customer and Commercial and the Executive in delivering Parking Strategy objectives (e.g. increasing the number of Resident''s Permit Zones)- To manage the On and Off-Street Parking Enforcement Contract (jointly on behalf of East Herts, Welwyn-Hatfield and Stevenage)- To ensure Parking Services are meeting income and expenditure requirements set out in the Medium-Term Financial Plan (through management of 23 car parks and numerous resident and business permit schemes)About youAs an ideal candidate, you will have:- Experience of operational delivery and ..... full job details .....
