Parent Carer Forum Co-production Support Officer Location: BarkingWorking Pattern: Hybrid (typically 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home)Rate: £22.54 per hour PAYE / £29.42 per hour UmbrellaContract: Temporary, 3 months initially with view for further extension We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Parent Carer Forum Co-production Support Officer to join a high-profile SEND Reform Programme, helping to ensure that the voices of children, young people and families are at the heart of service design and delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to support meaningful engagement and co-production across SEND services, working closely with parent carers, schools, partner organisations and professionals to drive positive change and improve outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As part of the Council''s ambitious SEND Reform Programme and Experts at Hand model, you''ll play a vital role in ensuring lived experience directly influences decision-making, policy development and service improvement. Key Responsibilities Support the development and delivery of co-production arrangements across the SEND Reform Programme. Work closely with the Parent Carer Forum and family representatives to promote engagement and participation. Coordinate meetings, workshops, focus groups and consultation activities.
