About the Role

Pertemps is recruiting a Delivery Driver to work on behalf of Parcelforce Worldwide in Rotherham, on a full-time basis at £15.95 per hour. Your role involves driving a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely along designated routes, loading and unloading mail and parcels, and delivering them to distribution points and local teams. You will also perform daily vehicle checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and provide professional customer service. Applicants must hold a full manual UK driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) and no more than six points. Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle is essential, alongside sound route knowledge.

Location: Rotherham
Pay Rate: £15.06 per hour
Hours: Up to 30 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday with weekend availibility

What You’ll Be Doing:

Load & Go: Start your day at the local delivery office sorting and loading your vehicle.
On the Move: Deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, walking up to 8 miles a day.
Tech-Savvy Delivery: Use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures.
Hands-On Work: Lift and carry mailbags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg), using delivery trolleys when needed.
