About the Role

As a Parcel Delivery Driver with Pertemps Royal Mail in Newry, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of letters and parcels. This full-time, temporary position offers a rate of £13.69 per hour, with up to 30 hours worked across Monday to Friday and weekend availability required. Your day begins at the local delivery office, where you will sort and load your vehicle before setting out on your round. The role combines driving with walking up to 8 miles daily, using a handheld device for navigation and capturing signatures. What You’ll Be Doing:

Load & Go: Start your day at the local delivery office sorting and loading your vehicle.
On the Move: Deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, walking up to 8 miles a day.
Tech-Savvy Delivery: Use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures.
Hands-On Work: Lift and carry mailbags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg), using delivery trolleys when needed.
