About the Role

Parcel Delivery Driver based in Rotherham, working on behalf of Pertemps Royal Mail, with an immediate start. This temporary, ongoing position offers £15.06 per hour for up to 30 hours weekly, scheduled Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, with shifts from 15:00 to 21:00. Duties commence at the local delivery office, where you will sort and load your vehicle. Using a handheld device for navigation and signature capture, you will deliver parcels and letters on foot or by van, covering up to eight miles daily and handling mail bags weighing 16kg. The role suits those comfortable working outdoors independently and prioritising customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
· Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
· Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
· Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
· Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
· Use delivery trolleys when required
Requirements:
· Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred)
· Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
· Excellent time management and customer service skills
· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
