Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) with flexible working hours


A well-established, independent financial planning firm is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing technical team.


This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and is looking to build a long-term career in paraplanning, rather than progressing into an adviser role.


Working closely with Financial Planners and supported by a dedicated Administrator, you''ll be able to focus on what you do best-technical research, report writing and delivering high-quality client outcomes.
 
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing high-quality suitability reports
• Conducting technical research and preparing recommendations
• Responding to client and adviser queries
• Working closely with Financial Planners to support ongoing client relationships
• Attending client meetings alongside advisers (as this develops within the business)
• Reviewing pensions, investments, ISAs and wider financial planning solutions
• Using Intelligent Office and CashCalc as part of your day-to-day role

Unlike many paraplanning positions, this role offers the opportunity to become more involved in the client journey by attending meetings and helping manage any follow-up actions.


About You
We''re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments
• Experience using Intelligent Office and CashCalc
• Excellent report writing and research skills
• A genuine desire to build a long-term career as a Paraplanner

Level 4 Diploma is preferred but not essential for candidates with strong paraplanning experience.
