Paralegal

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a fully remote Paralegal with a strong interest in post-completion work to join a well-regarded firm of solicitors based in North West London. Working within the Residential Conveyancing team, this is a post-completion focused position, with the successful candidate spending a significant proportion of their time dealing with post-completion matters and ensuring transactions are brought to a successful conclusion following completion. Duties include: Managing post-completion work, ensuring matters are progressed accurately and within required timescales. Completing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms and dealing with related post-completion requirements. Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and registrations, including monitoring applications through to completion. Dealing with requisitions and liaising with the Land Registry to resolve queries and ensure registrations are completed. Processing applications and registrations at Companies House, where required. Assisting with other post-completion formalities, ensuring all outstanding matters are dealt with. Supporting pre-completion work, including liaising with fee-earners, mortgage lenders and clients to obtain documentation and updates. Monitoring key dates, deadlines and outstanding post-completion requirements to ensure matters progress efficiently. Key Skills and Requirements: A law degree is essential.
