They are now looking for Paralegals to join their Private Client and Court of Protection teams.The OpportunityBoth Paralegal roles sit within busy, client-focused departments, where you will support fee earners on a broad range of matters and play an important part in delivering a high standard of client service. You will also assist with the efficient management of files and administrative processes. Key responsibilities include:Accurately record chargeable time, maintaining clear file and attendance notesDemonstrate understanding of mental capacity in relation to Wills, LPAs and Court of Protection mattersAssist with drafting Wills and LPAs, and support fee earners in client meetings and relationship managementMaintain and regularly update central records where partners act as Executors or AttorneysRelease original documents to clients in line with firm proceduresTake a proactive approach to estate administration and management of affairs under LPAs or deputyshipsSupport the probate process, including preparing Inheritance Tax forms for reviewAssist with Court of Protection matters, including deputyship applications and annual reportsLiaise with financial institutions and follow up on outstanding mattersDraft correspondence and monitor documents ..... full job details .....
