Panel Wirer Location: Sheffield Pay: 17.00 - 19.00 per hour - This is dependant on experience level. Hours: 37.5 per week Monday-Friday + Optional Saturday Overtime - 7am or 8am Start We''re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Sheffield-based manufacturer for an experienced Panel Wirer, Panel Builder to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy, high-quality electrical manufacturing environment. In this role you will be a hands-on member of a skilled and supportive team, responsible for the electrical wiring and mechanical assembly of LV/MV switchgear and control panels.The Role:Assembly and wiring of electrical switchgear and associated equipmentReading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and production documentationEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracyFault finding and identifying any defective or malfunctioning componentsMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environmentCollaborating with team members to share knowledge and best practiceSupporting wider production activities when requiredAbout You:Proven experience in panel wiringStrong ability to read and interpret schematic diagramsSolid understanding of electrical systems and componentsKnowledge of electrical regulations (17th or 18th Edition desirable)Background in electrical manufacturing or a similar environmentReliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a ..... full job details .....
