About the Role

The Panel Wirer role in Tamworth is a permanent, full-time position offering a base salary of £34,257.60, with company bonus schemes. Working Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:45 and Friday 07:00 to 12:00, you will assemble and wire electrical control panels. Key responsibilities include interpreting wiring diagrams, mounting components, and cutting and crimping MCB/PLCC units. You must demonstrate good quality workmanship and familiarity with panel boards. The role demands an electrically savvy individual comfortable with installing various components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

We are working with a well established business looking to recruit a skilled panel wirer to work with the team in Tamworth.
The role is permanent full time .
Mon - Thurs - 0730 -1645hrs and Friday 0700 - 1200hrs - with paid morning break and unpaid 30 min lunch break.
Enjoy a base salary of £34,257.60 and enjoy being part of the company bonus schemes.
Skill set required :-
- They will know their way around a panel board and understand electrical drawings/wiring diagrams, assembling and wiring electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- An electrically savvy person who finds MCB/PLCC, cutting and crimping, mounting and installing a variety of components second nature.
- Be self-motivated with a results driven approach
- They must have initiative and be happy to read quite detailed assembly work instructions from a tablet, so strong English reading skills.
- The role is Full time 40hr role 7.30-4.45 (Mon-Thu) paid morning break, unpaid 30min lunch break and 7-12 (Fri) paid morning break, although overtime opportunity when busy.
- Good rate of pay with personal and company bonus schemes after initial probation
