Job Title: Control Panel Wireman Location: Northampton Salary: £32,000 £35,000 DOE Term: Permanent, Full-TimeWorking HoursMonday Thursday: 07 30Friday: 07 30Total: 39 hours per weekControl Panel Wireman Role OverviewWe are working exclusively with a well-established engineering business who are looking to add an experienced Control Panel Wireman to their panel shop in Northampton.This is a hands-on, workshop-based position producing fully bespoke BMS control panels. Every build is different there is no repetitive production work or standard off-the-shelf panels. The successful candidate must be confident hitting the ground running and working independently from schematic drawings.This role would suit a time-served Panel Wireman who takes pride in quality, accuracy, and professional workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and wire bespoke BMS control panels from electrical schematic drawingsComplete full panel builds including:Back plate and door layoutMounting electrical componentsWiring, dressing, and terminating to specificationWork on a variety of panel types including:Wall-mounted panels (single and multi-cabinet)Floor-standing panelsBox build assembliesCarry out quality checks and panel testing to ensure complianceUse hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely and correctlyMaintain a clean, organised working area and zero defects approachLiaise with engineers where drawings require clarificationAssist with occasional modifications or improvementsPlease note:All ..... full job details .....
