This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer to join a dynamic organisation where your skills will make a real impact.We are seeking a Panel Designer and Builder with 5-15 years of experience (more experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply) who can manage the full lifecycle-from designing large-scale electrical panels to building and testing them on site.What You''ll Be DoingPanel Building (70%)Build and test large control panels (up to 2m high) in-houseConnect electrical equipment, test cables, and update drawings/documentationOrganise transport of equipment and panels to/from sitesMaintain a safe, clean, and efficient workshop Electrical Design (30%)Create and update electrical drawings (EPLAN experience preferred)Support documentation and design improvements Additional Responsibilities (10%)Purchase and track equipment for ICS projectsLiaise with suppliers and manage missing ordersTravel occasionally (approx. 20%, UK and abroad) for installations and testingAbout You5-15+ years'' experience in panel building and electrical design (20+ years also welcome)Skilled in both hands-on panel assembly and creating electrical schematicsComfortable working with various voltages (24V AC/DC; 240V AC; 415V AC)Familiar with EPLAN or similar CAD tools ..... full job details .....
