Panel Beater

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a prominent automotive accident repair specialist based in Hereford, who is looking to appoint a skilled Vehicle Panel Beater to join their dynamic team. Duties of the Panel Beater:

• Repair and replace damaged or compromised bodywork panels following manufacturer standards
• Conduct chassis and framework repairs ensuring structural integrity
• Accurately assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods
• Perform bumper and door repairs as required, maintaining high-quality standards
• Ensure all repair work complies with internal quality controls and external audit requirements
• Collaborate within a team to ensure smooth and efficient workshop operations as a-Panel Beater
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater within an automotive repair environment
• Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent are desirable but not essential for individuals with extensive practical experience
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards is advantageous but not compulsory
