You''ll be part of an industry-leading team, working with Marshall and other major defence stakeholders and Primes. The hours of the role are Monday - Thursday 5.30pm - 3.15am. Responsibilities include:Prepping, sanding, applying body filler, priming and painting shelters and component parts.Must have the ability to mix by weight, primer and paint in accordance with paint manufacturer''s specifications.Prepare parts and shelters to time, cost and quality.Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.Work in accordance with Paint shop procedures (Housekeeping and good working practices).Due to projected manufacturing demands, shift work and overtime may be required. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor - Paint. Apply if you have the following:Proven experience in a professional paint spraying role.Commitment to high quality workmanship.Able to work well within a team, and follow training with minimal supervision.Experience in prep and painting preferred.Attention to detail and ability to follow processes and instructions.Red Seal, Autobody Painter (will consider equivalent of 5,400 hours of practical experience in an automotive painter occupation) preferred but not required.
