Job Title: Painting and Decorating Tutor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) Location: Centre Based Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Depending on qualifications and experience Type: Full Time, Permanent Essential Criteria: Must hold your own Level 2 NVQ in Painting and Decorating. Willingness to work towards teaching qualification - PTLLS/AET - fully funded and supported by employer Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to groups of learners. Must hold solid occupational competency within Painting and Decorating. Must be IT Literate. Full UK Driving Licence and use of a vehicle. Duties include: Teach/assess learners working towards a vocational qualification in Painting and Decorating within a classroom-based environment. Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners'' skills knowledge and behaviours Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews. Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression. Embedding of Maths and English into sessions. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner s needs.
