London Fire Solutions is a leading passive fire protection specialist, delivering compliant fire door manufacture, installation and remedial services. LFS are currently seeking to recruit three experienced Painters due to continued company growth covering South/ East London and Surrey.

Role Overview

We are looking for reliable, skilled painters who take pride in producing a high standard of work. The works carried out will be in schools, social housing and council blocks.

This role is offered on a self-employed basis, with the opportunity to move to PAYE after 3 months, subject to performance and management discretion. Working, Monday- Friday 8am-4pm, with overtime available.

Key Responsibilities

• General painting and decorating works
• Taping and jointing
• High-standard prep work (essential)
• Preparing and painting woodwork
• Carrying out repairs to damaged walls
• Repairing and decorating fire doors
• Working efficiently and safely across a variety of sites

Required Skills and Experience

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must be willing to travel
• CSCS Card
• Own tools
• Own vehicle 
• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating
• Strong experience in prep work and finishing
• A professional and reliable approach to work
