Painter/IPAF

Our client is seeking experienced Painter and Decorator for a temporary contract on a project in Totton.This vacancy is being advertised by a recruitment agency acting on behalf of the employer.

Key Duties

• Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating, including preparation, priming, and finishing surfaces
• Apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes to a high standard
• Work at height using access equipment (MEWPs) in line with IPAF training
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and stripping where necessary
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members

Requirements

• Valid IPAF ticket (Categories 3A & 3B)
• Valid CSCS card
• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
• Ability to work at height safely and confidently
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
• Good understanding of health and safety practices on site
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
