RG SETSQUARE IS CURRENTLY WORKING WITH A SOCIAL HOUSING CONTRACTOR SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED PAINTER

Job title: Painter
Location: Birmingham
Salary: -28000 per annum
Monday to Friday
8am-4:30pm.

Benefits: Company van and fuel card provided
23 days + Bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
* Painting & Decorating: Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works across social housing properties.
* Void Properties: Prepare and paint void properties to a high standard, ensuring they are ready for re-letting.
* Repairs & Preparation: Undertake surface preparation including filling, sanding, and making good prior to painting.
* Quality Standards: Ensure all work is completed to a professional finish and in line with client expectations.
* Property Maintenance: Support general maintenance works within occupied and void properties as required.
* Health & Safety: Follow all company health and safety procedures and maintain safe working practices at all times.
* Customer Service: Work professionally in occupied properties, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
* Teamwork: Work alongside other trades and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently.

As a Painter, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving social housing properties. The Painter will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes across a variety of homes, ensuring properties are returned to a lettable standard. This Painter role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Key Requirements:
* Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Painter or in a similar role within social housing or property maintenance is preferred.
* Trade Skills: Strong painting and decorating skills including preparation and finishing work.
* Full UK Driving License: Must have a valid driving license.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to deliver high-quality finishes consistently.
* Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and tenants.
* Self-Motivated: Able to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
* Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
* Health & Safety Awareness: Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
