We are currently looking for a Painter and Decorator to work on insurance reinstatement projects covering Peterborough and the surrounding areas for a well-established property repairs contractor.This opportunity is with an established contractor delivering high-volume reactive repair and reinstatement works on behalf of leading insurers. We''re looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator who is available to start as soon as possible on an ongoing subcontract basis.I''d be keen to speak to anyone with experience working within insurance reinstatement, domestic repairs, property maintenance or refurbishment, whether you''ve previously worked as a Painter, Decorator, Painting Technician, Property Maintenance Operative or in a similar role.As a Painter and Decorator, you will be:Carrying out painting and decorating works within occupied and void residential properties following insurance reinstatement worksPreparing surfaces by filling, sanding, stripping wallpaper and repairing minor defects before decorationApplying emulsion, gloss, satinwood, primers, stains and other specialist coatings to walls, ceilings, woodwork and exterior surfaces where requiredCompleting redecoration following fire, flood and escape of water damageTravelling between customer properties across Peterborough and the surrounding areaEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard while providing excellent customer serviceSubmitting accurate weekly electronic timesheets for approvalI''d love to ..... full job details .....
