Role Information:Job Title - PainterSalary - 34,000Location - Merthyr Tydfil South WalesStart dates - September 2026 Why join Marshall Land Systems in this role: The Painter is responsible for carrying out high-quality paint touch-ups and detailed finishing work on manufactured containers, ensuring products meet defined quality, durability, and appearance standards. The role supports overall manufacturing output by maintaining finish integrity and supporting rework and rectification activities where required. Working as part of a multidisciplinary manufacturing team, the Painter ensures all work is carried out to the highest professional and technical standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities in this role include:Prepping, sanding, applying body filler, priming and painting shelters and component parts.Must have the ability to mix, primer and paint, by weight and volume, in accordance with paint manufacturer''s specifications.Prepare parts and shelters to time, cost and quality.Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.Work in accordance with Paint shop procedures (Housekeeping and good working practices).Due to projected manufacturing demands, shift work and overtime may be required.Clean and maintain spray equipment.Apply undercoat to deployable shelters.Other duties as assigned.
