Painter

We are currently looking for an experienced Painter to join a site based in Derby, DE22, on a 6-month temporary contract. This is a great opportunity for a skilled Painter seeking consistent work, offering working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

• Location: Derby, DE22
• Pay Rate: -22 per hour via umbrella
• Duration: 6 months
• Hours: Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week

As a Painter, you will be responsible for:

• Internal and external painting and decorating works
• Surface preparation including sanding, filling, and rubbing down
• Emulsion, gloss, and finishing works
• Basic plaster patching and making good repairs
• Minor handyman tasks and general maintenance support
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
• Following all site health & safety procedures

As a Painter, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Painter / Decorator
• Basic plastering and making good experience
• General handyman skills would be beneficial
• Valid DBS check (essential)
