The successful candidate will have good attention to detail, take pride in their work, and be able to complete projects to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, scraping, and repairing imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, stains, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes. Use brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools safely and effectively. Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas before starting work. Mix and match colours and finishes as required. Carry out interior and exterior painting and decorating work. Complete work to agreed timescales and quality standards. Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe throughout the job. Identify and report any damage, defects, or additional work required. Follow all health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project.
