Pay Rate: -21.50 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity for a Painter and Decorator to join a leading main contractor, renowned for delivering exceptional services and partnering with some of the largest social housing providers.

Responsibilities:

• Completing a range of external and internal mould treatments, painting and minor plastering repairs in occupied properties whilst achieving a durable quality finish.
• Preparing surfaces for painting and decorating, such as filling cracks, sanding, scraping, etc.
• Applying various types of paint, wallpaper, and other finishes, using brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.
• Using an electronic hand held device to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken.
• Liaising with residents, contractors, and other staff, and providing excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• Blue CSCS Card or Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Painting & Decorating (desirable)
• Asbestos Awareness, UKATA or IATP
• Basic DBS Check
