We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with experience in social housing, reactive maintenance and property refurbishment to work across a variety of residential properties.We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of providing a professional service to tenants and residents.About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality painting and decorating works across occupied and void residential properties.You will be expected to deliver consistently high standards of workmanship while working safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to residents. Strong customer service skills are essential, as you will regularly interact with tenants, residents, clients and other members of the team.Key Responsibilities Carry out all aspects of internal and external painting and decorating within residential and social housing properties. Prepare surfaces by filling, sanding, stripping wallpaper and making good prior to decorating. Apply paint, varnish, stains and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors and other surfaces. Hang wallpaper and complete other decorative finishes where required. Carry out reactive maintenance decorating following repairs completed by other trades.
