Search Consultancy is looking for a qualified, hardworking Painter & Decorator for an ongoing project based in Newcastle. We are working alongside a highly regarded contractor delivering a mix of large-scale commercial and residential fit-outs across the area.

Working on a well-managed site in Newcastle, your duties will include:

• Preparation: Thoroughly filling, sanding, masking, and priming walls, trim, and structural surfaces prior to painting.

• Internal Painting: Applying high-quality undercoats, gloss, and emulsion finishes to walls, ceilings, skirtings, and door frames.

• Precision Work: Cutting-in around fixtures, fittings, and color boundaries with crisp, neat edges.

• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Protecting flooring and existing fittings from paint splatters, keeping tools clean, and maintaining an organised work zone.

• Efficiency: Working efficiently alongside other trades to ensure handover targets and deadlines are met.

• CSCS Card: A valid CSCS card (Blue Skilled Worker preferred) is required.

• Proven Experience: Practical experience in internal painting and decorating on busy construction or refurbishment sites.

• Tools & PPE: Must have your own complete kit of brushes, rollers, kettles, standard painter''s whites, and 5-point PPE.

• Reliability: Strong work ethic, good communication, and a punctual, daily presence on site.

• Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.

• Competitive Earning: A reliable CIS rate of -21.00 per hour.
