About the Role:

Complete Classroom Services is seeking a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our team, working within a vibrant school environment. You will play a key role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of educational spaces, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and welcoming for students and staff.

This position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in painting and decorating, preferably in a school, commercial, or facilities-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard
• Prepare surfaces, fill cracks, and complete minor repair work
• Assist in maintaining the school''s overall appearance
• Work safely and effectively with minimal disruption to school activities
• Coordinate with the Site Manager and school staff on scheduled tasks
• Maintain logs of work completed and materials used
• Follow all safeguarding and health & safety regulations on site

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in painting and decorating
• Proficiency in surface prep, paint application, and finishing techniques
• Good awareness of health & safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable:

• Experience working in a school, college, or similar environment
• General maintenance or handyman skills
