Paint Technician

We are working with a fantastic accident repair centre based in Sidcup. They are currently in need of a Paint Technician.

The hours would be Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.-

Responsibilities:

• Paint work to damaged vehicles in workshop for repair
• Use Water Based Products
• Checking Paint Colour
• Spray out card for all colours
• Set up oven temperature/time
• Set air pressure
• Applying filler/stoppers
• Paint preparation
• Roller/spray priming
• Complete quality check sheet
• Paint work as per job card
• Paint mixing
• Paint mixing rooms cleaning
• Use extraction at all times
• Full face air-fed mask and overalls to be worn
• Use correct fillers for repair
• Plastic repairs
• Ordering paint with parts when needed
• Check Operations Manual for repair systems/filler application
• Liaising with other departments
