Vehicle Sprayer / Paint Technician Location: West Sussex area Duration: Long term contract. Available to start ASAP, Pay: • Day shifts: £20.00 per hour PAYE (plus holiday pay) or £24.76 per hour Umbrella rate , LOver time rate £29.16 • Various shifts available including day, night, and occasional weekends Summary We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Sprayer / Paint Technician to join a train company s refresh campaign, primarily focusing on aesthetic painting work on the exterior of train carriages. The role involves preparing and applying paint finishes to rolling stock, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety and environmental standards. Candidates should have a proven background in vehicle painting, with previous roles such as Vehicle Sprayer, Paint Technician, Automotive Refinisher, or Bodyshop Worker. A good mechanical understanding and experience working within a vehicle environment would be advantageous. The position requires flexibility to work across various shifts, including nights and occasional weekends. Key Responsibilities • Prepare surfaces and apply paint coatings to the exterior of train carriages as part of refurbishment and refresh projects • Carry out aesthetic repairs and finishing work to a high standard • Follow health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and COSHH regulations • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition • Accurately complete records of work carried ..... full job details .....
