The successful candidate will have experience preparing and painting components to a high standard, ideally within an aerospace, automotive, defence or manufacturing environment. Experience working with carbon fibre parts would be highly advantageous. Responsibilities Prepare carbon fibre parts and various substrates to a high standard. Prepare surfaces and primer ready for topcoat. Carry out masking and component preparation prior to painting. Colour match to customer samples. Select paint suitable for the application. Spray primers, coloured base coats, top coats and cosmetic finishes. Carry out texturing, tinting and lacquering of components. Use filler to address pinholes, voids and shapes. Complete quality checks on finished components. Produce high-quality parts in line with customer requirements. Follow work instructions and maintain quality standards.
