This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Paint Sprayer with an accident repair background who enjoys working on a wide variety of vehicles and tackling different challenges.

The Role
As a Vehicle Paint Technician, Paint Sprayer or Commercial Vehicle Paint Technician, you''ll be responsible for preparing, repairing and refinishing a variety of vehicles, ensuring all work meets high standards of quality and workmanship.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, filling and masking.
·Mixing and matching paint colours to achieve accurate finishes.
·Applying primers, basecoats and clearcoats using professional spray equipment.
·Carrying out paint repairs and refinishing on caravans, motorhomes, horseboxes, vans and other vehicles.
·Repairing and working with fibreglass, plastics and aluminium.
·Identifying and repairing damp areas, including carrying out resealing work where required.
·Ensuring all repairs are completed to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.
·Working closely with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workshop operations.
·Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
·Following all relevant health and safety procedures.
Occasional weekend work and attendance at trade shows will also be required.
 
About You
To be considered for this Vehicle Paint Technician position, you''ll ideally have:
·Significant experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician or Paint Sprayer within an accident repair environment.
·Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques, materials and preparation methods.
·Experience using paint mixing equipment and professional spray guns.
·Experience working on a variety of vehicles, ideally including larger or specialist vehicles.
·Knowledge of fibreglass, plastic and aluminium repairs.
·Experience with damp repairs and resealing would be advantageous.
·Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.
·The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·A self-motivated, enthusiastic approach and a strong work ethic.
·Good communication skills and the flexibility to support the wider team.
