THE ROLE
As a Senior Bodyshop Painter, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality paint repairs and refinishing work on accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring every vehicle meets manufacturer and industry-leading standards. You will play an important role within the bodyshop team, using your experience to deliver exceptional finishes while supporting efficient vehicle throughput and maintaining consistently high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
·Prepare and paint accident-damaged vehicles to a high professional standard
·Carry out full and partial resprays, blending, colour matching and refinishing
·Complete preparation, masking, priming and final finishing work as required
·Identify and rectify paint defects to achieve a flawless factory-quality finish
·Work closely with Panel Technicians, MET Technicians, Preppers and Workshop Controllers
·Maintain high standards of productivity while working to agreed repair times and KPIs
·Ensure paint equipment and work areas are maintained to a clean, safe and professional standard
·Follow manufacturer repair methods, bodyshop quality standards and Health & Safety procedures

ABOUT YOU
We''re looking for an experienced Senior Bodyshop Painter who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent technical knowledge and can consistently deliver high-quality repairs within a busy accident repair environment.

·Extensive experience as a Paint Technician, Paint Sprayer or Bodyshop Painter
·Previous experience within an automotive accident repair centre or bodyshop
·Strong knowledge of modern automotive paint systems and refinishing techniques
·Experienced in colour matching, blending, full and partial resprays
·High level of preparation and finishing skills
·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
·Ability to work efficiently to production times, KPIs and quality standards
·Able to work independently while also supporting and working effectively with a wider bodyshop team
·IMI and/or ATA qualification advantageous
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
·Professional, reliable and quality-focused approach
