Manpower UK is recruiting a Temporary Paint Sprayer to join a busy industrial workshop based in Ince-in-Makerfield, Wigan. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:30, paying up to £14.34 per hour. The position involves spray painting equipment and machinery, alongside metal preparation tasks such as cleaning, sanding, and surface treatment. The successful candidate will support general workshop activities, adhere to all health and safety procedures, and maintain a tidy workspace. Some outdoor work may be required. We are currently recruiting a Temporary Paint Sprayer to support a busy industrial workshop in Wigan. This role will focus on on-site spray painting and metal preparation.
This is a practical, hands-on position suited to someone with previous spraying experience who is comfortable working in a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Spray painting equipment and machinery on-site
- Metal preparation including cleaning, sanding, and surface treatment
- Supporting general workshop activities where required
- Following all health andamp; safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Some outdoor work may be required
Skills andamp; Experience
- Previous paint spraying experience essential
- Background in automotive spraying or shop blasting preferred
- Experience working with metal preparation
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
