About the Role
We are looking for a Paint Sprayer with a basic understanding of paint application and surface preparation to join our workshop team. You will work on Rolling Stock, learning and developing your skills while delivering high-quality finishes.
What is required of the Paint Sprayer:
- Basic knowledge of paint application and prepping surfaces.
- Interest in paints, coatings, and finishing techniques.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to follow instructions.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities of the Paint Sprayer:
- Prepare and prime surfaces, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Apply paints, primers, and coatings using spray equipment.
- Work with different paints, thinners, and sandpaper grits.
- Assist with colour matching and blending.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Check finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
