Job Role
As an Experienced Paint Sprayer in the Metal Fabrication Department, you will be responsible for ensuring that metal components and structures are coated with high-quality finishes, meeting industry standards and client expectations. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the aesthetics and durability of the modular products.
- Apply paint coatings to metal components and structures using various spray equipment.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired finishes.
- Inspect painted components for defects and make necessary touch-ups.
- Maintain and clean spray equipment and paint booths.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure quality control and consistency in paint application.
Person Profile
- Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in a metal fabrication or similar environment.
- Knowledge of different paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
- Relevant certifications or training in paint application is a plus.
